2/5/03: Dead Man walking.... *sigh* still
Hello again,

I'm back with another rant, folks. I promised one a the Dead Man so here it is......

1990, Survivor Series: The Million Dollar man promised, weeks before, that he would introduce a mystery partner for his team at the Survivor Series. At the Survivor Series, he made good on that promise because out came a 6 foot 10 inch, almost dead-like monster, lead to the ring by the annoying, yet funny, Brother Love. This monster was to be known as "The Undertaker". Some fans recognized him from the NWA/WCW because in that company, he was Mean Mark.

The Undertaker destroyed all in whom he faced in the ring that night, but got himself counted out when he and Dusty "Fat bastard" Rhodes fought all the way to the backstage area. The fans knew though, that the WWF had a new star. The question was - How long will it last? Try 12 years, and that's not a good thing.

Fast forward to more recent times. The WWF becomes the WWE and a more tattooed, Undertaker is still around "destroying" all who stand in his..... limelight. That's right, after 12 years of being in the WWF/E the man won't job, nor can he sell a move. You'd think a guy who's been in the business for so long would step aside and let the younger talent have a good push, but no, 'taker isn't going to allow that.

Like Triple H, the Undertaker is a backstage politician, hell-bent on staying in the spotlight. Some will deny it, others know the truth. Triple H fans and Undertaker fans are all the same. They're little kids in denial.

Probably the biggest, and most obvious, proof that 'taker has a hard time putting people over and can't sell a move for shit is when he feuded with, Brock Lesnar.

During this feud, 'taker had the upperhand 90% of the time. Everytime, Brock did something, 'taker came back from it and destroyed him. Here's a guy, who the WWE are trying to push as a legitment monster, and here's the Undertaker making him look like a lil' bitch.

Onto Unforgiven '02. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. The match is 80% 'taker and 20% Brock. Brock, the monster, once again has his ass handed to him by the tiring, and boring, middle-aged Undertaker. He just kept coming back everytime. By Undertaker beating on Brock so much in that match, Brock looked weak. Even after the fuckin' match was ruled a "no contest", 'taker continued to beat the shit out of Brock, even throwing him through one of the stage props. C'mon! The fans were pissed with the end results, shouting "BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT" for god knows how long. WWE claims the reason for the ending was to pro-long the feud. HORSESHIT! They could have had Brock win and still continue the feud. 'taker's not going to allow a rookie to go over him.

Then there's the episode of Smackdown where Brock "broke" 'takers hand. He did sell that though, I'll admit it, but his bitching screams were fuckin' annoying.

The next Smackdown episode we see Brock in the ring walking closer and closer to Steph. 'taker comes down, Brock turns around and gives him a spinebuster, the problem, 'taker didn't jump so Brock had to literally pick him up and slam him down. He then steps on 'taker's broken hand, 'taker some how gets back on his feet and beats the shit out of Brock. He starts punching Brock with his casted up hand...... GIMME A FUCKIN' BREAK! More Undertaker politics. At least, Brock beat 'taker in the Hell in a Cell match at the 2002 No Mercy ppv, the draw back though, Undertaker still dominated most of the match.

Now we're in the year 2003 and 'takers back after a 3 month absence. He's now currently feuding with the Big Show. Will he and his backstage politics make Show look like a weak bitch? Or will Undertaker finally start letting other talent go forward? Only time will tell.

My rant is done. Keep coming back because I will have more rants for you all in the weeks to come.
