September 13

First Meeting at Progressive Club

--If anyone has ideas for a sweatshirt/hoodie design, get them to a sponsor before the next meeting

September 15 New Initiates/Mother Meeting (Requirement for Initiates)

--5:00-Meet at Progressive Club for short meeting
--Pay $25 Initiation Fee
--Return Parent Forms
--Bring 2 signs for garage sale and hang around town
September 19

Bring 10 Items for Rummage Sale (Requirement for ALL)

--4:00-5:00 Bring 10 items to Progressive Club (NO items will be accepted after four)
--All clothes must be clean and on hangers. We will also accept shoes, household items, books, toys and anything else you want to bring that is in good condition. We need all sizes, male and female.
--Check in your items with a sponsor and then HELP HANG OR PUT OUT YOUR ITEMS. Do not leave until you have done this.
--Members turn in parent/member agreement

September 20 New Initiates Clean Up (Requirement for Initiates)

--The sponsors will run the sale from 7:00-11:00 a.m.
--New Initiates must be at the Progressive Club at 11:00 a.m. to help box up remaining items and take them to the Special Workshop.
October 2 Attend Volleyball Game (Point Opportunity)

--Be at the gym and in the stands no later than 6:00. Sit together and wear blue and gold and cheer for the volleyball team. Sign in with a sponsor. You must stay for the entire match to get your point.
October 5 Meeting at Progressive Club-1:30

--Turn in Cookie Dough Money and Orders
--Fall Dance Dues-$20 per couple
--Vote on design for sweatshirts/hoodies. Price announced and orders due to Mrs. Janet by Friday, Oct. 10
--New Initiates bring a treat for big sisters. Spend no more than $10. BE CREATIVE!

October 7

New Initiate Requirement

--Be at the progressive club from 4:30-5:30
--Each initiate is to bring 18 cookies (homemade, not store bought). You MUST be there NO LATER than 4:30.
--Cookies will be bagged and mailed to '08 seniors at college.
--Bring some type of metal tool to pull staples out of walls.

October 11 Barn Dance/Hayride/Bonfire

--9 p.m.-Midnight
--This will be at Cara Kay's farm (unless announced otherwise). Go 3 miles past Kelley's on Hwy 64. Cross Gregory Ditch bridge and the farm is on the right.
--New Initiates will be required to help clean up after.
October 17 Sit together at Ballgame (New Initiate Requirement / Member Point Opportunity

--New initiates must be at the football field and in the stands by 6:30 p.m. You will need to bring signs to support the Yellowjackets and dress in blue and gold. Be sure to sign in with a sponsor and sit as a group for the entire game.

October 19 JPC Attend Church together (Point Opportunity)

--Union Avenue Baptist Church (on Martin Drive)
--Meet in front lobby at 10:15 a.m. Sign in with a sponsor.
October 31 Goodies for Marathon (Point Opportunity)

--Bring one dozen bakes goodies (NOT individually wrapped) to Cara Kay's house BEFORE THE BALLGAME. Items brought during or after the game will not be counted.
November 1 Work at Marathon (Point Opportunity)

--Meet the sponsor in charge in front of the HIgh School Cafeteria and sign in
--9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Freshman and Sophomores
--11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Juniors and Seniors
November 2 Meeting at Presbyterian Church

--1:30 p.m.
--Bring posters for Santa's Workshop (point opportunity)
--Vote on Winter Formal theme/t-shirt design
--Vote on hat check girls for Winter Formal
November 3 Pick up cookie dough (Requirement for everyone)

--Pick up cookie dough at the Progressive Club between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (unless announced otherwise)
--If you do not pick up your items by 1:00 and deliver your items, you will receive your point.
November 22

Pink and Black Affair (Requirement for everyone)

--New Initiates will meet at the Presbyterian Church parking lot at 4:45 p.m. to car pool to this event
--Times, menus and activities at each house will be discussed and assigned by the host homes before the event.
--Sophomores meet at Kelsey Barnett's house and bring an appetizer.
--Juniors meet at Bryanna McClanahan's house and bring a dish for the main course.
--Seniors meet at the Progressive Club and bring a dessert item
--New Inititates will travel from house-to-house
--At 9:00, everyone will meet at the Progressive Club. Sign in at the door.
--Everyone should dress in a pink and/or black dress or skirt. (Meeting attire)

December 7 Meeting at Progressive Club

--1:30
--Winter Formal Dance Dues: $20 per couple
--Winter Formal T-Shirt Money Due---Tshirts $10, Long-sleeved Tshirts $12
--Bring an unwrapped Christmas girl for a Jr. High or High School aged person (male or female). Only one point possible. These will e delievered to the Fire Department for the Toy Drive. (Point Opportunity)
December 7 Santa's Workshop (Point Opporunity)

--Stay after meeting and help set up for Santa's Workshop
--Help children shop for Christmas Presents.
--Help clean up afterwards.
--Must be dressed in the Christmas spirit.
--You must work the entire time to receive your point.
December 13 Winter Formal

--9 p.m.- 1 a.m.
--Robert Jenkins will take pictures from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at his studio. Candids will be taken at the dance.
--Shirts will be passed out at the dance.
--Initiates will be required to stay and clean up after the dance.
December 15 and/or 16 Point Opportunity for Spring Dance

--Meet at the fire station from 6-8:30 p.m. to help wrap Christmas gifts.
--Must be there and stay busy the entire time and sign in with a sponsor to get your point.
