  Three DJ's formed in 1988 and were the X-Men. The-Men were then the X-Ecutioners and released thier first album in 1997. In 2000 they started working on a new album "Built From Scratch." In 2001 they had a major breakthrough. The first single off the album was "It's Goin' Down." This song was featuring Mike shinoda & Joseph Hahn of Linkin Park. On guitar is Static-X's Wayne. The song more of a hard rock, rapcore song. Linkin Park's presence helped them get big. Linkin Park even had them preform with them at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, where they did some scratching in "One Step Closer."  The album is full of great artists like Xzibit, Inspectah Deck, Pharaohe Monche, Everlast, Big Pun, and DJ Premier. In summer 2002 the X-Ecutioners toured with Xzibit, Ludacris, Papa Roach, and Eminem on the Anger Manegment tour. X-Ecutioners also appear on Linkin Park's remix album "Reanimated." They do "X-Ecutioner Style" with Black Thought. Other remixers include Evidence, Jonathon Davis, Aaron Lewis, Jay Gorden, Chali 2na, DJ Babu, Pharoahe Monch, and Motion Man. In 2003 X-Ecutioners released "Scratchology." The album is a mix album, mixed by the X-Ecutioners. The album has four X-Ecutioner songs on it and songs from Davy DMX, Gangstarr, DJ Premier, 3rd Bass, EPMD, Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, Pete Rock, DJ Cash Money, Marvelous Melvin, Rob Swift, DJ Klever, DJ-Melo-D, Grand Wizard Theadore, Roc Raida, Dilated Peoples, and many more rappers and DJs.
