1. Absolutely NO POWER PLAYING! For anyone who doesn't know, power playing is when your character tries to become some God-like figure, with no flaws or weaknesses, or if they excessively speak or act for another character without the other player's permission. A simple "Yes", "No", "Beats me" is okay, but speeches and/or plot changes are a no-no. Whoever doesn't pay attention to this rule and violates it a few times (and by this I mean major violations like: wounding badly and killing people off;  taking over the plot and changing the whole thing; doing something to a character that wasn't agreed on and which the owner of that character finds that offensive), will be kicked off of the list.

2.NO CHAIN LETTERS! A lot of us really hate chain letters. If you post a chain letter to the list, you will be warned the first and second times. The third time you will be unsubbed from the list.

3.NO FLAMING OTHERS! We all are entitled to our own opinion, as long as we express it in a calm and respectful manner. If you have a personal comment to someone, send it offlist.

4.So we know WHO IS POSTING, in the signature line of each post you must put your name (character name). At the end of your post, under the signature, you may include quotes (providing they are NOT derogatory or defamatory in any way to the X-Men, RPG or any of it's members), the URL of your website, and, if you are interested, chat programs through which people can get in touch with you.

5.THERE WILL BE NO ADVERTISING NEW LISTS.

6. Most of us don't really care if you use SWEAR WORDS in your posts, but
there are some who do care, therefor, please rate your posts. For example,
in the subject line I will write: "Salem Center, PG-13....." The ratings
are the same as movie ratings, G, PG, PG-13, R NC-17 etc.

7. There will be NO RAPE cases in this game. Though it is a major problem in our society, I will not allow it into the game, along with anything S&M related.

8. POSTING:
* The email to post to is X_men_RPG@yahoogroups.com (note: if you are not part of the list, this email will not work for you. You need to join before posting).
* Please remember to put either OT or OOC in the subject line, these are
posts that are not part of the story being written on the list.
* DO NOT PASTE the entire email to which you reply. Just cut and paste
those exact parts to which you respond, and please put a '<' symbol when
you begin the paste and a '>' at the end of the paste. It makes the reading
much easier and makes a lot more sense.
* This may sound obvious, but it's surprising how many people don't do
this. If you are posting with someone, or even if someone has left a new
post open for anyone to reply, READ the post carefully. Take notice of the
people, places and items mentioned within it.

9. All characters must be APPROVED by the list owner (Rogue). It doesn't
matter if it’s a made-up character or one borrowed from the Comics – not even if it’s a character you want to make up for a few posts. If you want to give the char a name and personality, you need to get it approved. But if you just want to bring in a nameless char - to start a fight, for instance, or something of the sort - you may.

10. Made-up characters, come AFTER you have taken up a character from the original X-Men series! You cannot start off with a made-up character! You have to chose one from the series or cartoon, before submitting a profile of the made-up character to the list owner and moderator (DO NOT SEND IT TO THE WHOLE LIST)! It is to be sent off-list. The owner will read the profile over and decide whether to approve it or not. Once approval is given, you may begin posting and 'jump in'. If the owner doesn't approve, it's back to the drawing board.
