I just paid nearly $6 for a cheesy "Chicago" pen and a pad of paper at O'Hare! ....Sitting in the waiting area, I find that I am apparently surrounded by Englishmen on their way home. The English accent sounds very jovial and yet educated at the same time. Except for the man sitting behind me....he is an almost perfect replica of Audrey Heburn's father in "My Fair Lady".
    Aren't there any attractive men in England?
Carla will be disappointed...she advised me to dress as American as possible for the flight over : overalls and a black t-sirt.   There is a decidedly British woman sitting across from me with the same uniform on. :-)

    Approximately two hours sleep on the flight - it's going to be a very long day.
Terry and Dana picked me up from the airport in the silver Puegot station wagon. Driving on the opposite side of the motorway didn't seem unusual at all. However, once we got onto two-lane roads - that's when I got nervous. Round-abouts were initially intimidating but I think I've just about gotten them figured out. Granted, I haven't tried to drive yet, but....
