Let
me say what I have to say like I know what I’m talking about… but
really, I don’t know films… I enjoy watching movie in the big screen
even if we have DVD and cable at home. But that doesn’t mean I know
films… really.
Anyway,
I went to see the Crisaldo Pablo Digital Film, “Bath House”. Finally!
Well, it was shown at Robinsons Galleria a week before the film festival. I
was supposed to see it but I was told at the information desk that it was
per invitation only. Anyway… good thing I went to chat and learned,
through one of the chatters, that it would be shown in a regular run. So, I
went…
Waite… I didn’t go right away… well, I thought it would be fun
to have someone to watch it with…
The night before, I told Jacques, the guy from San Antonio (Finally,
A Good One) about the film. He said he heard about it and that he and
his friends are planning to see it. I backed off. And then, I thought I
change the picture that I have on this webpage (www.xanfactor.tk).
Well, the original picture was digitally enhanced—I blur it using Adobe
Photoshop to make my skin look a lot smoother. I did a great job, so great
it was perfect… too perfect, no one could be that smooth… everybody who
saw it thought it was fake or that it have so many things done on it.
Actually, that and have the background black were all I did to it. That
really was my body—I just wasn’t breathing. The picture you are seeing
now was the original with its background changed to black. Honestly!
After
I load the picture, I went to chat and start cruising for a date for the
film. When asked for a picture, I gave this web page’s address. They
thought I was hot… but still no one wants to go with me…
So I went to see the movie alone… guess what, the
movie house was full… Sure, it was a tiny movie house but still I wasn’t
expecting it to be full—not specially in the middle of the week! Well,
it’s a digital film and non-commercial, plus it’s pink! Not that I’m
not happy about it. I’m ecstatic about it! Go, Gay Crowd, Go!
