wow...xbosx is back...the reunion finally happened with a bang last night...thanks to everyone who witnessed the carnage. the show went so well (at least we think it did) that we're gonna do it again on september 21st with fairweather, keepsake, and the interns...stay tuned for more info...if you missed the show, check out the pictures of the show in the pictures section...

it's been a while since we've played. everyone has talked at one time or another about playing one more show. not everyone wanted to at first, but we miss playing and decided to play a show for the one year anniversary of our first ever show. unfortunately dj won't be playing, but other than that it's the original line up. i know what you're thinking...why are they making a big deal about this shitty band, but to us it is and was way more than the music itself. we had so much fun in xbosx and hopefully entertained some people. so we're gonna do it all one more time for everyone who missed it before and for old times sake. so I hope everyone comes and checks it out cause it's gonna be crazy. we're gonna go all out. it's gonna be great. so don't wait another year to see us.

ah...it's been so long...too long to be exact. as you all know xbosx has been broken up for about three months now, and we've all pursued other projects...dave and dj with xjohn ritterx, brad and maunee with two weeks til forgotten, and myself with mazam...these past three months, while we've been enjoying ourselves with our other endeavors, have been horrible for all of you i imagine, because you have not been blessed with xbosx in your life. so we have resolved our differences and have talked about a possible reunion (not the full lineup, dj has parted ways) in the very near future. so if you don't wanna miss out on the band that makes you realize that your life is worthless, make sure you attend the next few local shows, or you might miss out. oh yeah, and brad wants you to know that we're better than you...

it's been fifteen years since we last updated (well, actually a month and a day, it seems like fifteen years)...lots of stuff happened, we played a few shows, pierce came back, i quit, came back, quit again, came back, quit again, came back, and so on. we're as strong as ever, but we have no place to play. butterbean's is a distant memory, and without the theater there's no local venues for shows. we, along with some others, have started the derry theater project, visit the site and help us out in any way you can. and if you think your parents would let you have a show at your house, ask them if you can, then invite us over. i promise that the only things that will break are my guitars

first off, i would like to apologize to ken and his family for my jumping into the bush and destroying it on saturday, otherwise the show kicked ass, pure xBOSx angst and shitty music as usual. i don't know what the crowd thought, i think they were pissed about our making fun of blink-182 and rage against the machine. anyways...in world news...the rumors are true, i am going to be having a large house party at my college apartment on november 17th. everyone is invited, there might be a cover charge though...for reasons i will explain later. um, yeah, so...yeah. hope you like the new fan page and CAUSEY WAY fan/cult site. yeah, its true, dxjx and i have joined a cult, and now spread the word of CAUSEY. look for us to be converting those who have yet to be enlightened by the way of CAUSEY.

the show at xkrazykenx's went good despite the extremely cold weather. the infamous tickle pit was not used though. xBOSx would like to thank everyone that came to see us and any other bands there, especially a friend of mine laura senger, it was her first xBOSx show. she is now a fan. a pictorial representation of the house show will be up soon, aka pictures that we took of the show will be on the site very soon. go to www.pittsburghrock.com and vote xBLADESOFSTEELx as the best band in pittsburgh. we are now in second place behind microwaves, but I don't think that's even a band so I guess we're winning. we are slowly amassing a group of fans, i believe we now have 4. there's a possiblity of a fans pages here at the xBOSx site. that's right, the fans get their own page. the few the proud, the xBOSx fans. if any of you faithful followers of the xBOSx cult ever see any of us walking around like at the mall or on the street or something, it would be awesome if you said "hey you guys are in Blades of Steel." we could then feel like rockstars, just like brett detar. that's all I can think of for right now. this is dj signing out
