Updated on: March 5, 2004 Better looking guide coming soon(no pictures over text) How to hook up two xbox's: You will need:1 system link cable, 2 xbox's, 2 TV's, 2-8 controllers, and 2 of the same games that are system link enabled 1st step: Hook the two xbox's to there TV's and power sources, and plug in the controllers.duh Remeber: YOU WILL NEED A TV FOR EACH XBOX 2nd step:Take your system link cable and plug one end of the cable into one of the xbox's (where that red circle is plug it into there) with a cord that looks like this and the other end of the cable into the back of the other xbox 3rd step: Turn on your xbox make sure they both have the same game: and to start a game it normaly goes somthing like this: Go into multiplayer, click on System link play, have one of the XBOX's creat a game and then the other xbox should see the game pop up on there screen. then click join and you should be all good to go. (for a guide to start a system link game on any game or questions e-mail me anchorage_halo_lan@hotmail.com) How to hook up 3-4 xbox's: now this is a bit more difficult You will need: 3-4 #R7J304 cables (ethernet cable) (system link cables wont work) (3 for 3 xbox's 4 for 4 xbox's) looks like this 3-4 TV's (1 for each xbox) 3-4 xbox's 2-16 controllers 1 cable/dsl router/switch with 4 or more slots should looks somthing like this -------------> 2-4 of the same game that are system link enabled(1 for each xbox) 1st step: hook each xbox into there power sorces and controllers duh 2nd step: Take a link cable or #R7J304 cable from each xbox (there is a connection slot in the back of the xbox) and take the other end of the cord and plug it into the router/switch. (plug one side of the cable into the xbox and the other end into one of the router/switch slots). Make sure each xbox is hooked up correctly to the router/switch and the router/switch is plugged in to a power source. 3rd step: Turn on your xbox's make sure they both have the same game: and to start a game.
