Important note: Here's a little more advice on tackling the Amazons. Narsus' voice is really loud, so you can already hear her screaming orders to her warrior women gang. Whenever she screams: "Attack!", get ready for some ferocious Amazons. But when Narsus' cry is "Retreat!", that's your chance to go for items and such, because there will be less Amazons bothering you then. Again, I haven't listed all the Amazons because the place you encounter them depends on where you run to. The total amount of enemies in this level is 30.

Walkthrough: Kill two Amazons charging straight ahead. To the right of the hut, grab a staff, scroll#1 and a health power-up hidden in a vase. Look at the bridge on the left. From this point, you'll have to decide whether you want to take the shortcut or the longer route. The longer route contains four more items. The shortcut is a little more dangerous since it includes quite a bit of water. This does a little damage to your own health bar, but the bigger problem is that it also gnaws on Gabrielle's health bar. Sometimes, Gabrielle won't follow you into the water, which is also dangerous since you'll be leaving her alone, a prey for the Amazons. Think of it as a challenge. It's up to you.

Shortcut = Stand in the middle of the bridge. Can you see the Frost Biter on the right, a little higher? I haven't figured out how to get this item as yet. If you know how to get this Frost Biter, please e-mail me. Thanks!

Longer route = Cross the first bridge entirely. Look back for a second. See that "unreachable" Frost Biter? I haven't figured out how to get it, as yet. If you know the answer to this problem, please e-mail me. Thanks!

Get scroll#2 and two health power-ups on the left (one revealed, the other one hidden in a vase). Behind the huts on the right is a Promethean Blade. Fight the Amazons and keep following the path along the right curve to the next bridge.

On top of it is an Amazon. Jump onto the bridge and finish her off. Follow the bridge until you reach land. Grab a health power-up and a staff (in case you missed the first one) behind a tree on the left. Follow the path along the right curve, kill the Amazon. Before you cross the next bridge, look over to the left. You can walk over the water hear without harm. Do this to reach a bushy area with a lot of trees. There's a health power-up hidden in here. Retrace your steps to the bridge and cross it. Continue, past the gargoyle statues and find the next bridge, which is relatively huge. Before going over it, go right, kill the Amazons, grab a Super Chakram, a revealed health power-up and another one hidden in a vase. Also, tackle the Amazon on the left (by the middle of the bridge) so her irritating boomerangs won't bother you. Now you can cross the bridge. A big gang of Amazons will greet you at the other end. (This is where you should use your Super Chakram.) Slash the vase to find a health power-up. On the left is the exit, but don't go there as yet or you'll miss some important items. Walk to the left. You'll see that a little green patch is hanging from the end, close to the waterfall. Carefully get onto this patch. There's a patch like this straight ahead too. Do a neat running jump to get onto this one. Jump over to a tiny area and get the Resurrection Jewel. On your right you'll find little cave. Get inside to find a Sword Upgrade! Now you can retrace your steps to near the exit and go through it to finish the level. (In the time that you're getting the Resurrection Jewel and the Sword Upgrade, Gabrielle is left alone. So make sure all the Amazons are dead before you get the goodies. If you screw up the final jump, the Resurrection Jewel will give you another chance.
