Commander Bonaparte

Commander Bonaparte was in charge of the Alliance forces on Corsica and was in command of the Leo factory there. He was one of the older class of Alliance officers, who used textbook strategies that were outdated and especially resented the Specials. He and others like him thought that the Specials only stirred up battles for their own selfish purposes, and he especially disliked young officers like Trieze Kushrenada and Zechs Merquise. After trying unsuccessfully trying to defend the Leo factory against the Gundam Heavyarms, he turns the battle over to the Specials Middle East Squadron's Aries. They have a bit more success, and Bonaparte's views about the Specials changed after watching them in combat, and after the death of Walker.
