There, they have made well-known sims that will lead them to greatness. Ruby-Moon, Nekoda, and Seluwen are the three members that make up Crimson Mirage. A team of lower-powered sims - Immortal Adversity - have been on CM's tail for some time now, suspecting the leader of hacking. They try to either get CM to stop their illegel activities... or to banish them from The World. After CM was challeneged to a battle between some of IA's members - the low-powered members - called The Followers in a broken field, the players in The World begin to realize that things are going to be changing - not for the better. Now there are mysterious deaths of numerous players in RL after their sims were KOed in The World...various fields being closed off by the administrators due to data corruption...and the results were changing weekly. As a hacker, Carrie used her sim Ruby-Moon to go around The World in search of loop-holes and anomalies in the coding. She also uses the havoc of the moment to play her second sim: Séad. When Carrie was still new to The World, she managed to hack into the system and alter her account - allowing her to have more than one sim. Another rather well-known group, Nitidus Vallum, delcared themselves rivals to Crimson Mirage. And in this time of confusion and the need for peace of mind, a rival isn't what Crimson Mirage exactly had planned. At the same time, an unrealized - and unchecked - romance grows between the timid Séad and Leo, a member of Nitidus Vallum, as the two sims meet in secret in a field that Carrie hacked into after it was closed by administrators. The only problem: Leo doesn't know that Séad is also Ruby-Moon and Séad doesn't know that Leo is a member of NV. Leya and Roxs of Crimson Mirage have their work cut out for them when Audra - the leader of Immortal Adversity - decides that the blame is theirs for the player deaths and broken fields. They don't have time to worry about the mysterious hours that Carrie spends online and Ruby-Moon is unable to be contacted. But when Séad tries to bring her relationship with Leo to RL, Leya and Roxs feel they have a serious issue on their hands. The situation of deaths and the end of The World is imminent. But with Carrie's new unorthodox feelings distracting her and her two friends' distraught minds, the end of The World may come with some heavy consequences.
