Can someone teach me a good way to created Key Words? A. If you combine words randomly, you might get a really strong enemy and die instantly. When your level is low, you should use words with low difficulty. When using a so-called low-level word, you still might end up in a high-level field because there still are two other words than can rule over the lower word. (The jewel in read has the highest priority when forming key words) Elemtents Q. Do Elements make a difference? A. There are 6 elements for skills, items, and monsters. For monsters, there is an icon to the left of its name. There are similar icons in your status screen Elements have Opposing Elements, so enemies with Fire Elements are strong against attacks with Fire Elements, but weak against attacks with Water Elements. Q. What are the oposing elements? A. Wood <--> Earth Thunder <--> Darkness Fire <--> Water Other: Elemental hit: Attack with Elemental Skills that are opposite the monster attribute and it will result in double (2x) the damage. Element: Field type • Earth: Wasteland (stone walls) • Water: Snow field • Fire: desert, Magma • Wood: Jungle, grassland, humus (mushrooms) • Thunder: there’s thunder and lighning • Darkness: Swamp (skeletons) Grunties Q. What is a Grunty? A. Grunties are living things in Theta server’s ranch, and they kinda look like a mix between a cow and a pig or something. You can only use them in certain servers (no compatible in delta server). You can trade with your Grunty after it grows up to an adult and you can use your Grunty to ride around in Fields. When riding a Grunty, you don’t have to battle anything. Q. What's Grunty food? A. Food for Grunty is an item that you can feed them. They don’t exist in delta server, but if you find any food items you should keep them. You find food for Grunties not only on the field but also in the dungeons. Springs of Mist Q. Is there a reason why the level of a weapon increases or decreases when you throw it into a Spring of Mist on different fields? A. Depending on the weather of the field, your weapon or armor gets either stronger or weaker. Sometimes, this is the only way to get a stronger weapon that what you already have. Other: If you throw in a weapon or armor that is too strong for Monsieur, he’ll give it back to you and give you a gold and silver axe. These aren’t that strong, but they are good trading items Symbol Q. Is there some meaning for Symbols? A. If you touch them, they have a special effect on you, like healing, increasing your strengths, etc. Effects are random so you don’t’ know that you get. The things on fire in the field are the same. Skills Q. What's a Skill? A. It’s an attack that uses up SPs (skill points) during battle. It can damage enemies, or cute allies. They don’t call it “magic”, because they’re not just spells, but moves that are used by a swordsman as well. Q. When I changed weapons, I lose a skill. Is there a connection? A. Skills are based on equipment and not characters. So if you change your equipment, you can’t use that skill any more. The skill you lost was probably on your old weapon. Q. There’s a skill I have that I can’t use. Why is that? A. 1. You don’t have enough SP. 2. The target isn’t in range. There’s a range with every skill, so if the target isn’t within range, you can’t use it. Defense and Evade Q. I bought a more expensive armor, but it got weaker against enemy magic attacks. Why is that? A. Probably Magical Defense on the armor is low. There’s Magical Defense and Physical Defense. Even if your physical defense is high, if your Magical Defense is low you can’t guard against magic damage. Q. What’s the difference between Defense and Evade? A. Defense lessens the damage you receive and Evade is the frequency you get hit. Tolerance Q. What is Tolerance? A. Monster Tolerance: For a group of monsters, certain physical/magical attacks will cause zero damage because of their defense mechanisms. Armor Q. Why can’t I equip a certain kind of armor? A. Wavemasters can only equip the lightest armor. Twin Blades and Long Arms can’t equip heavy armor. Other guys can equip whatever they want. It all depends on your job class, so you better know which ones you can equip. Member Addresses Q. What are Member Addresses? A. A member address is like a business card. You can call up other players in other towns and areas by mail. Just open the menu in a Root Town and select the player you want. You need addresses of other players in order to form parties.
