YAHWEH-JEHOVAH:

Name of the GOD of the Hebrew people as transliterated from Masoretic Hebrew text. JHVH or JHWH, vowels of a separate word, Adonai (Lord).  Original vowels is a matter of chance, because of an interpretation of such texts as Ex 20:7 & Lev 24:11, the name came to be regarded as too sacred for expression; the scribes, in reading aloud, substituted "Lord," therefore wrote the vowel markings for "Lord" into the consonantal framework of JHVH as a reminder to future readers aloud.  The translators of the Hebrew, not realizing what the scribes had done, read the word as it was written down, taking the scribal vowel markings as intrinsic to the name of GOD rather than as a mere reminder not to speak it.  From this came the rendition Jehovah.  The evidence of the Greek church shows the forms Jabe and Jâo to be common, as well as the shortened Hebrew forms of the words Jah,  (see Psalms 68:4, for example) and Jahu (in proper names).  It indicates that the name was originally spoken Jaweh or Yahwe (often spelled Yahweh in modern usage), flawed of the verb hawah (hajah).   The older interpreters explain the verb in a abstract sense; the "I am" of  Scripture is "He who is," the absolutely existent.

MELCHIZEDEK:

A priest-king in the Old Testament (Genesis 14:18-20).  In the biblical episode Melchizedek encountered Abraham on the latter's return from battle with the Mesopotamian kings.  He gave Abraham bread and wine (thus, according to Christian scholars, prefiguring the Baptism) and in return received a tithe of Abraham's spoils.  In Psalms 110 he is referred to as the Messiah.  The New Testament's Epistle to the Hebrews cites the two Old Testament references to demonstrate that Melchizedek foreshadowed Christ.  Heb 7:1, Melchizedek was the King of Selem, the High Priest of the GOD.  The King of righteousness, the King and Peace, verse 2.  He had no father or mother, nor descent, having no beginning of day or end life; but was like unto the Son of GOD, and abideth a priest continually, verse 3. (There is only one High Priest-Jesus Christ Himself!).

I AM THAT I AM:

The voice that spoke with Moses from the Burning Bush, Who was HE?  He said He was the GOD of thy father, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  But He did not say He was Yahweh, or Jesus, Ex 3:6.  And when Moses ask what name should He use when He come to the children of Israel, He said I am That I am, that was it, verse 13-14.

Notice Larry uses the name Jesus in this but the name Jesus is nowhere to be found in the Old Covenant. Please notice how Christians always stop at verse 14 of Exodus 3:6-14 they need to read verse 15. Exodus 3:15 And the Mighty One said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Yahweh the Almighty of your fathers, the Almighty of Abraham, the Almighty of Isaac, and the Almighty of Jacob, hath sent me unto you:  this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

ELOHIM:

Eloh means Everliving ones-IM means more then one spirit being, so in Gen 1:26 Elohim, (More then ONE) said Let US make man in our image (Seems Christians use that verse and Matthew 28:19 for their Trinity belief.  But if you read: Gen. 1:29 it says:  I HAVE , verse 30 says:  I HAVE, verse 31 says: HE HAD MADE.  Now go to Gen. 2:2 it says ENDED HIS work which HE HAD DONE, and HE RESTED, verse 3 says: HE RESTED from ALL HIS work which HE HAD DONE.  Isaiah 37:20:  Now therefore, O Yahweh our Mighty One, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art Yahweh even thou only.  Joel 2:27:  And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Yahweh your Mighty One, and no one else:  and my people shall never be ashamed.  Psalm 18:31:  For who is the Mighty One save Yahweh?  or who is a rock save our Mighty One?  Isaiah 43:10-11:  Ye are my witnesses, saith Yahweh and my servant whom I have chosen:  that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he:  before me there was no Mighty One formed, neither shall there be after me.  Isaiah 42:8:  I am Yahweh:  that is my name:  and my esteem will I not give to another nor my praise to graven images. Psalm 33:6, 8, 9: 6: By the word of Yahweh were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. 8: Let all the earth fear Yahweh: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9: For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.   Notice all the previous verses speak in singular and not plural.).  Here again the word Yahweh was not used, or Jesus or I am.  Elohim, general term used occasionally in the Old Testament for any divine being, but more frequently in reference to the GOD of the Israelites.  Plural of the Hebrew Eloah ("GOD"), it has been explained as signifying greatness and majesty. The frequent use of the term in the Pentateuch has been regarded by biblical scholars as the key identifying feature of the second oldest pentateuchal source, known therefore as "E." Accordingly, the author of "E" is sometimes referred to as the Elohist.  (Elohim is singular or plural which is proven by the following verses: Isaiah 45:5:  I am Yahweh, and there is none else, there is no Elohim beside me:  I girded thee, though thou hast not known me. [Elohim is plural in this verse.]  Joshua 2:11:  And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you:  for Yahweh your Elohim, he is Elohim in heaven above, and in earth beneath. [Elohim is singulr in this verse]  Psalm 96:4-5:  For Yahweh is great, and greatly to be praised:  he is to be feared above all Elohim.  For all the Elohim of the nations are idols:  but Yahweh made the heavens. [Elohim is plural in both cases in these verses.]  Psalm 118:28:  Thou art my El, and I will praise thee:  thou art my Elohim, I will exalt thee.  [El = singular and Elohim = singular in this verse.] El is short for Elohim as Yah is for Yahweh.  Psalms 68:4:  Sing unto the Mighty One, sing praises to his name:  extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YAH and rejoice before him.)

IMMANUEL or EMMANUEL:

(Hebrew, "GOD with us"), in the Bible, the name occurring in Isaiah 7:14 and 8:8 and applied by the prophet Isaiah to a future child who would be called by that name, and would deliver Judah from danger.  Isaiah made his prophecy when Judah was being threatened (734-33 BC) by the kings of Syria and Israel, and he wanted King Ahaz to rely on GOD for guidance. Exactly when the child symbolizing the protection of Yahweh was to be born, the prophet Isaiah was referring to the Messiah, for Christ is called Immanuel in Matthew 1:23.

JESUS CHRIST:

Jesus Christ (between 4 and 3 BC-AD 31?), the figure of Christianity, born in Bethlehem in Judea.  The chronology of the Christian era is reckoned from a 6th-century dating of the year of his birth, which is now recognized as being from four years in error. Christians traditionally regard Jesus as the incarnate Son of GOD, and as having been divinely conceived by Mary, the wife of Joseph, a carpenter of Nazareth.  The name Jesus is derived from a Greek rendering of the Hebrew name Joshua, or in full Yehoshuah (Jehovah is deliverance).  (Jesus is English for the Greek - Iesous and Joshua is English for the Hebrew - Yahshua.  Jesus = Ea - Zeus - Healing Zeus.  Joshua = Yahweh salvation.  See the Jesus - Joshua study and the Yahweh - Jehovah study.) The title Christ is derived from the Greek Christos, a translation of the Hebrew mashiakh (anointed one), or Messiah (see the Messiah versus Christ study).  "Christ" was used by Jesus' early followers, who regarded him as the promised deliverer of Israel and regards him as the redeemer of all humanity. NAMES:

So now we come to Names-Does it really matter which Name we use for the supreme beings, did He say that we must us a certain name for Him!  (Larry, He sure does, haven't you ever read Psalms 83:18 or Isaiah 42:8 or Acts 4:12 or John 5:43 or Romans 9:17?  If not Larry, you need to because there are many others that prove there is only ONE NAME.     Also Larry if you don't believe in one name why do Christians get baptized in Jesus name?   So Larry, everyone better know what NAME it is.  See the study The Importance of His Name.)  Is His Name Yahweh, Jehovah, Adomai, Elom, Immeual, or Jesus  (See these studies:  Anti-Messiah, Yahweh-Jehovah and Pagan Words Put Into Scriptures Or Used Within Christianity).   Is His Name Yahweh, Jehovah, Adomai, Elom, Immeual, or Jesus.  We will start with Moses Having a conversation with Yahweh in Ex. 3:6.  This was the Name use there, but When Moses ask the Lord which Name would He use to tell the Israelities who sent Him in verse 13, The Lord said, I am that I am, which is not name, So Moses went forth to the Israrelities and used the name I AM for GOD, verse 14.  Now the children of Israel know the Name was Yahweh, but they were receiving a new Name, the Name was not name.  (Larry I tried telling you that I AM is not a name it looks like you are confused here, you said they were receiving a NEW NAME, then turn around and say it is not a name doesn't make sense Larry.)  So here we can see how names are not important to the Lord.  If it was so, the Lord would of told Moses to you YAHWEH, but He did not.  (Larry like I said, don't stop at verse 14 but read verse 15 also of Exodus chapter 3.)   Now again, we come to Immeual, He was to be born of a virgin, and named Immanuel, Isaiah 7:14. Which He was, this can be read in Matthew chapter1-3 In Matthew 1:23 it is clear that His name was Emmanuel. So where did Jesus the Name come from? This all started with his birth, and how the three wise men came to Bethlehem seeking the child born King of  the Jews.  The whole story is in Matthew, chapters 1-2.  Herod sent the wise men to find this child called Immeual, Matt 1:7.  When the wise men did not return verse 16, Herod had all the male Jewish children two years and younger killed, verse 17-18.  Herod was looking for a Hebrew child name Immeual, not a Hebrew child named Jesus.  (Larry if Herod was looking for a child named Immanuel then why were all the males 2 years and under murdered for? Were they all named Immanuel?  Larry there was no reason to change his name as you can see.)  Joseph and Mary departed with immeual and want into Egypt, verses 12-14.  They stay there until the death of Herod fearing for the childs life, verse 19.  The Name Jesus is a Greek name, which He received in Egypt (Larry please show me one place in scripture or history where it says he received the name in Egypt), but He did not return to Jerusalem even after the death Herod, verses 20-23.  (Larry if that is true then why does Christianity teach his name was Jesus when he was born? Here again Larry you perpetuate a lie.)   Jesus grow up in Nazareth which was in Galilee, and was also peoples of Greek and Egypt, Not Jews. So Immanuel name around these people was Jesus, and He keep the name through life, until He died.  (Larry if that is true, what was His name after He died if he kept it TILL HE DIED? And if that be the case Larry, why do you use it for your salvation?  Larry can you show me any scriptures that say the name given at birth is the name for salvation?  I can't find a one.)  Also Mary Jesus's mother had other children which she Names Greek names, James is not a Hebrew name, one of Jesus's brother by Mary.  (James is actually Jacob , and his other brothers names were Joseph, Judah and Simon.  Larry, these are all Hebrew names not Greek.  See the Immanuel study.)  She did this for her children in land that was not of her own kind, and would not understand why she did it. The Jews themself would never believe in a name like Jesus. Nor would they believe in a name like John which is also not Hebrew (John the Baptist). But one can read that in Luke chapter 1-4.  Zacharias is a Jewish name, but Elisabeth was told to name her child John.  Which her kindred could not understand, Luke 1:57-65.  None of the Jewish people today understand what the Lord is doing, Why He did what He Did, but there is a reason Why.  (Larry with a little study you will find that John is English for the Hebrew Yahchanan which means Yahweh is gracious.  So you see Larry, he was called Yahchanan not John. Larry the name Zacharias does not translate so it stays the same just like the name Immanuel.  Larry, it seems you are trying to perpetuate another lie through your own ignorance.)  Paul Himself killed Christians in the beginning, He did not believe in Jesus Christ (A Greek Name) neither, but the Lord would use him to teach the Gentile, the lord blinded Paul by the way side, the Book of Acts, after that, Paul never harmed another Christian, and did confessed Jesus Christ all the days of His life.  So what is this all about, the Names, Who is the Messiah, and what is wrong with the name Jesus, (Larry if you would just read the Jesus - Joshua study you would see what is wrong with the name Jesus and also the Anti - Messiah study) Paul gives us the answer for it all.  The Name Jesus Christ, and that He was crucified is a stumbling block to the Jews, and Foolishness to the Greeks, I Cor 1:21-23.  (Larry the name Jesus Christ is Satan's stumbling block to the world to keep people from the real truth.  You see Larry the Jews know His name is not Jesus Christ and you would also if you would just take time to study and get out of christianity.) Jesus himself laid the stumbling block for the Jews because of the Law by using the Name Jesus, Romans 9:31-33, so they would not believe.  Now to end names-Rev 19:11-13: And I saw heaven open, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on hes head were many crowns; and he had a NAME Written, that NO man KNEW, But he HIMSELF?  We know Yahweh, Immeual, I am, Jehovah, and Jesus Christ, but know man knew this New name, but Jesus himself?
