Here you will hopefully find enough links and information
concerning and relating to
FIBROMYALGIA/CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME
This is an illness that i apparently have suffered a lot of years and finally have recently been diagnosed with in (2004).
I have been through numerous
blood tests, arthritis tests, severe depression, severe pain, unexplained bruising, confusion, headaches(migraines) loss of balance, bouts of loss of memory(brain fog),IBS(irritable bowel syndrome) the list is endless, but dont let this dishearten you, as i have the long-term(whole kit n kaboodle you could say) There ARE some FMS sufferers that only have it SHORT-TERM,maybe only lasting a month or so,maybe more, but find it is mild enough to control, and continue with their general day to day life.Once you are diagnosed you can be treated even tho there is no cure, NOT TERMINAL just rather painful, depressing, and unlike some links say its not disabilitating...IT CAN BE!! If you have the severe form as i have. There is medication in the form of painkillers,anti-depressants(which are NOT just for depression, but help to relax muscles too),Pain management, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy. Everyone is different, so what works for one person, does not necessarily work for another.

TO
An illness that my mum suffered with for approx 3yrs,it saddens me to say i recently lost her (xmas 2004) Due to my illness symptoms, i found it rather hard to take in AND understand, but the words (cancer & immune system) seemed to "hit home" but no-one seemed to accept the depth of it all., even mum. She carried on regardless thru numerous tests and blood transfusions and so on.
I hope the links below help those of you who need answers!!
