| long time ago, still in winter, sitting in office, staring on a big tree in front of window, I was hoping all leaves could fall off from the tree so when the spring came, all showing buds on branches were brand new life. but not to my wish, i was disappointed to find sprouts growing out where the old leaves still dancing in the wind.
I asked many times why the new life had to be related to the old ones, why there was not a clear line between new and old, why couldn't we just rebirth a new life no bearing of history. not until I had a chance going to North, seeing trees without leaves, I started to learn how important the past was to the present because all I see were dark gray branches deadly standing in cold, which somehow scared me.
The past was what we went through. so much life experience built in years stay with us and help us grow just like what i saw the Leaves to the old tree, which were devoting their lives to growing new. I can not forget what we have through, i realize now what we have in the past helps us love stronger and braver. let's not forget what we gone through, let's cherish what we have had for each other, by doing that, we will love each other today more than ever…also forget the past means we lost ourselves.
