| This Site is Dedicated to All the People Affected by SARS. Although Goodbye Leslie is a site about Leslie Cheung, it is also a record of the hysteria, sadness, and the way we lived during the SARS crisis in 2003 in Hong Kong and Asia. The site was created during a time when we remained at home, unable to participate with the outside world. To me this was an art project, a piece of history -I acted as a facilitator to an interactive time capsule. It was never just a fan site. It was a piece of art work where Leslie intersected with SARs, with Hong Kong, with grief, and those who were still here. |
