About me...

I have completed my teaching credential!! Huzzah!  My last three classes for my Masters in Education Technology are scheduled for this winter through online courses with National University. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Information Technology. The official graduation date was January 2000, although I was done with classes long before that. I was hired as a full time teacher with Buena Park Junior High in August 2000. I taught 7th and 8th grade English for two years. I am currently living up in Big Bear substitute teaching for Big Bear schools. 

I enjoy the sun, beach, dancing, music of all sorts, reading and writing. I love to snowboard, and am enjoying my house up here!  I like spending time with my friends: having dinner, drinks, playing cards and just visiting. Of course, I love shopping, spending money I don't have, and traveling. Since I actually have summers off now, I hope to start traveling frequently. 

I also recently became addicted to Renaissance Faires.  RPFS being my home faire; although Big Bear did host their first annual Enchanted Shire faire this past August. I will be helping with event planning for the Big Bear faire next year.  Steph actually succeeded in teaching me the basics of sewing, and I have made quite a few skirts to complete my peasant wench attire.  I'll post more info on upcoming faires and pics from previous faires on a separate page.

And in case you hadn't noticed, I think Chilly Willy is the bomb!!
