< My Ponderence > to my room I went And sat And pondered I didn’t know what, to others, I ment And I really couldn’t go on like that So I rose, and hence the beach did wander As I sat and thought, passed an elderly gent Alone, with a furrowed brow hidden only by a thin tweed hat Would this be me? These thoughts I wondered So, this man I approached, but only quicker on his way he went I laughed and went on my way… found a cat… I kicked that cat I felt a lot better, no more my life I pondered.

< The Simple Art of English > Some people study English as a degree Others do things more worth while Like street cleaning, Why go to uni to waste a degree For something that’s such a pile Of ****… now where’s that street cleaner?

< A heartfelt tribute to street cleaners > Oh Mr cleaner man How do you make my street so clean? Oh Mr cleaner man What gives it that brilliant Sheen? Oh Mr cleaner man Is it some derivative of benzene? Oh Mr cleaner man I’ve got you sussed! It’s a phosphene! Oh Mr cleaner man How do you stay so keen? Oh Mr cleaner man Is it an excessive dose of morphine? Oh!! Mr cleaner man How could I have doubted your love for caffeine!? Oh Mr cleaner man Why don’t you just use an F-in machine!
