"Pati said she just wasn't ready for a relationship right now. That doesn't mean she won't be soon though." Melvin told friends early Monday. "She also said that I was one of the sweetest guys she new, she is totally hooked on me. She's just been hurt really badly by her last boyfriend and doesn't want to rush."
"Oh God!," Connell exclaimed when told of Gofferty's affections. "He just doesn't get it! I don't want to be mean to him because he really is such a nice guy but I swear I'd die if he ever touched me".
"It's very simple really he is reading the wrong things from her," Rhonda Wilkons, Relationship Therapist, stated. "Mr. Gofferty is obviously suffering from denial, stemming from being rejected by this woman. He is hearing what he wants to hear out of her words and not what is actually there."
This would have been the 3rd relationship for Gofferty had Connell not been disgusted by his mere presence. Gofferty's last two girlfriends were both online and ended shortly after the first meeting.
"I really do wish him the best! I know he'll find someone perfect for him out there its just not me." Connell stated "Maybe if he cleaned himself up a bit and got outside once in a while. He sits in front of that computer all day. He also needs to move out of his parents house he's 30 for Christs sake."
