| Before starting with norwegian words and sentences, I would like to begin with the alphabet. The norwegian alphabet is based on the latin letters. But even so, the norwegian alphabet is somewhat different from the ordinary alphabet used in rest of the world. The regular alphabet, that most people know about, is this one: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x and z. In the norwegian alphabet we have added three other letters: Æ, Ø, Å. The english speaking would spell them like this: Æ becomes ae, Ø becomes o with two dots on top and Å becomes two aa' s. |
