Once Inside the gates, you look back and see the Catholic Shrine above the gate. For some reason, we never went inside. |

Gedeminas Square is one of the focal points in Vilnius. When we were there, the square was under renovation and it was hard to get a good photos of this statue. Curiously, most man and horse statues are of mounted riders. Does anyone know the significance of the dismounted rider? |
