Cinderella’s Castle.
Here’s another view of the infamous Disney landmark.
FUN FACT: Did ya know that the lead vocalist of the 80’s metal band W.A.S.P., Blackie Lawless, has a father who worked on the construction of this castle? Yep, I’m a wealth of completely useless information.

The Jungle Cruise
One of my favorite attractions at the Magic Kingdom is The Jungle Cruise. Let’s take a quick look, shall we?

There are many different things you’ll encounter while in the dark jungles of Africa, such as…..

…venomous serpents that can crush, and swallow you whole.

…a seemingly docile Hippo that can actually leap up out of the water and pull you out of your boat and crush you bones within its steel like jaws.

…an ancient, dark temple that was probably constructed by a long forgotten race that worshiped mysterious, old gods and sacrificed thousands of people to them. Can you say, “HAIL CTHULHU!!!”?

…and how can we forget a headhunting, voodoo priest who carries the shrunken severed heads of recent victims.

What good times that Jungle Cruise seems to drum up.

Here it is…the Grandaddy of all Haunted Attractions, Walt Disney World’s Haunted Mansion.

Gracey Mansion
There it stands over the river in Liberty Square, calling to me for the last 24 years. They say its past residents; Master Yale and Emily Gracey, haunt the vacant home. They say that there are “wall to wall creeps and hot and cold running chills” that occupy the old manor. There are tales of the dead rising from their graves for a “swinging wake”. They say a lot of things about this old house. Are they true? That’s for me to know and you to try and find out. Bruahahahahahaha (sound of thunder / flash of lightning).

A geek at spook central.
Being a big fan of Haunted attractions and Dark Rides, returning to the mansion was like a pilgrimage to Mecca. After 11 times on the darn ride, I still marveled at something new every time. Wadda GEEK!!!!!!

Disney sure knows how to put on a show, especially at night. The place is lit up beautifully and makes you feel that the Magic Kingdom truly possesses magic powers…. or their very own electric generators.

And now on to MGM Studios....
