Tina
began her music career at the young age of nine when her father purchased her
first guitar. At age ten, she was accepted to the Academy of Vocal Perfection
and studied under Doctor Brookshire, the retired European Professor who
founded the school. Tina comes from a rich musical heritage. She grew up on a
mixture of mountain grass-roots music and Irish Celtic ballets taught to her
by her grandmother. Tina has performed throughout the country under many
different genres, both as a solo artist and as part of a band. Her hope as a
writer is that her music will speak to the real life situations people face
and inspire them to live life to it's fullest. |
Janelle’s
first musical training began in second grade, when she began piano lessons.
She later joined the middle school band program in Haywood County, NC. An
outstanding, and versatile, instrumentalist, she played bass clarinet in the
high school concert band and led her section on tuba in the marching band.
She auditioned and was accepted to the North Carolina All-State band all four
years she attended Tuscola High. Also, while in high school, she toured
Europe with other American high school students as part of a National
Orchestra. Janelle currently works as a veterinary technician. |
