Ugh...what a day...

It starts out with my crazy bottom feeder of a cousin ranting and raving at the top of his lungs in the house, in the street, on my neighbor's driveway, in my other neighbor's house, causing all kids of chaos and making people insane and driving my father and I out of  our damn minds.  Ugh...Shawn said I should have had him Baker Acted...temping idea, although the familial fallout made it less worth the effort.  Sigh...

Then it was fun with new years eve invitees.  People giving me shit about who I invited, people giving me shit about who I didn't invite, people who people were giving me shit about inviting deciding they aren't coming anyway.  Ya know, this new years eve thing is turning out to be more of a pain in the ass than it's worth.

All I want is to be with the friends and family members I care about, the people who make me happy and to be away from thsoe who in the past have made me somewhat miserable.  I don't think that is asking all that much.  At least the loyal traditionalists are coming.  T

At least Renee and I are finally going to see Lord of the Rings Tonight.

I don't know, folks...I have to admit I've been far from thrilled with quite a few of you these last few days.  I suppose when I decided upon my new years resolutions this time around I should have made one a la Italia...you know, out with the old so to speak.  I don't know why I put so much stock in others.  Not so much in their opinions of me, as their contemplations of  me.  Renee wants to be famous.  Thomas wants to be rich.  I just want people to think of me and smile.  Kind of pathetic isn't it?  I suppose some things never change, not even with the beginning of the new year. I'll get by with a little help from my *friends*.

Geeze louise, what a crazy week.  Tonight I got invited to two parties, a movie, and a "hang out downtown" with alterior motives and turned them all down to sit on the couch and channel flip with the dogs.  Sheer exhaustion has set in.  Between training the interns, dealing with crazy clients and their completely incompetent parents and running into people I never wanted to deal with again, I'm just in the mood to hide from the world, except, of course,  my loyal readers (Ryan, Judd, and Thomas.)  This was a week for running into people from high school I never thought I'd see again, and getting to know people who know people I know...I never thought I'd hear "Oh, you know Mark" from one of my interns, that's for damn sure.

Sad but true question of the week: Dan, why do you always like boys who have amazing websites, stereotypically gay auras, no fucking clue about anything whatsoever,  and an inate ability to deny your existence in their worlds?

Sad but true answer: I've forgotten how to flirt and I'm incapable of being in Florida and simultaneously being truly happy.  That and I'm in need of a good...well...you know...

ROOOAAAADDD TRRRRIIIIIIIPPPPP!!!!  Teeehhheee!!

I'm very excited.  This weekend I'm going to visit Thomasito in North Carolina and then to the other side of the state to pick up my grandparents and bring them to Orlando.  I didn't expect that I was going to get to see him, but my father (in some fit of hallucinations) decided that we should go 6 hours out of our way so that I can go see my best friend.  I love it when my parents approve of the people I hang out with, it's happened so infrequently over the course of time...of course, if they had it their way, Thomas and I would be married, but ya know...I have all my teeth and a New England accent, so I'm not exactly his type.  :)  I also am incapable of making armpit farts, but I'm working on it Trom, don't you worry!!
