| Caudipteryx zoui - feathered dinosaurs from China (2001) I think dinosaurs were very likely the precursors modern-day birds and i painted this illustration for an article in JC on the dinosaur-bird origin theory. I had no access to any fossils, so I could only rely on books and chicken bones to come up with this rather unreal picture. Medium - Acrylics. |
| Fiddler crab (Uca vocans) 2002 Those bumps on the pincers almost killed me while painting them. This rather crabby design was made for North-west CDC for some nature based event, with an emphasis on mangrove fauna. Medium used for this painting is goauche. |
