| Pale-headed Frogmouth Batrachostomus poliocephalus (2003) This very unkempt looking bird was seen perching in a bush adjacent a cabbage field in Kerinci National Park (Sumatra) on the main track up on a moonless night, haunting the environs with its piercing whisltles. It was quite bold, to say the least and allowed fairly close approach. Medium - black pens. |
