Random acts of Absurdity
What the?!:

Simply put, Hide me Golds are what I call random acts of absurdity.  The idea behind them is to hide what I consider a funny picture in places no one would expect to find.  The joy for me is hiding them and hoping someone will get a laugh out of discovering one of these things.

History:

It all began in 1995.   One day, I made the doodle of the little leprechaun under the strange tree.  I thought it was sort of funny, and proceeded to treat it like someones work of art: drawing a fake frame around it, giving it a title and signing it.  In a way, Treavey was reborn on that day.  Reinventing the persona into an idiot painter.   It was decided it would be even funnier if I began to mass produce them.  As I began to hide them,  random acts of absurdity were born.  Now, years later, it is one way I enjoy spreading humor and wonder all over the world.

Future:

As you may now know, the last hide me golds are made and are being slowly hid.  The last batch has this websites address, something that it's never had before.  I can't make them because the original is now too old to reproduce, and it looks like Treavey must stir up inspiration and make another masterpiece.  I am contemplating trying the same style, small picture with a colored part.  But maybe not.  Any idea will be posted here first, and your feedback will be taken seriously  as you want to give it.
