The basic principle of this web site is to encourage any idiocy you might come up with and post on the World Wide Web. Imbeciles are not an endangered species by any means, but if you explore this site you will see we do not use the standard (and non-PC) definition. Flat-Earthers and Flying-Saucer freaks need not apply unless they can make a Reasoned and Plausible, however idiotic -- in fact the more absurd the better -- argument for their cause. What we want is Intelligent Nuttiness and Nonsensical Explication (acronym INANE). Gomer the Greek is the Academy's guru. He is not well known, in fact only a handful of his quotations have survived. If you can unearth any new Gomer the Greek writings, you will get a banner on this site. The ancient Athenians offered him the alternative of drinking hemlock or getting out of town -- he decided to split, so if he was an imbecile that just goes to prove his point, which is that idiots are smarter than smart people who have ridiculous things like principles.
