This web site is not about protecting the unborn from the abortionists or saving thugs from execution or preserving human rights in Hong Kong. It is not about saving minks from giving up their fur (and lives) to rich ladies, or about stopping the trade in elephant tusks to greedy Japanese netsuke merchants who will not settle for anything less than ivory, or for stopping the killing of Siberian tigers so that their penises can be ground up as a sexual restorative for rich old Chinese men. These are all worthy causes, but they all leave out the common ground that affects all of humankind: WE NEED TO TAKE REMEDIAL MEASURES TO SAVE OUR PLANET. Every step one takes to relieve suffering and injustice is noble, but there is a higher cause that all of these movements should be secondary to, except as individual crusades within its mindset, namely,
