If it makes you happy...

Thanks again to all of you who came out to support out Quizzo benefit at Klondike Kate's on Septemeber 24th.  Thanks to your generosity we were able to raise $2,083 for the victims of the tragedies of 9/11.  But more importantly, we were able to smile.  Pictures and details...

This is your new thing now...

CD of the Week

When two and two are five...
Since the beginning of time man has questioned things...his existence, the capital of Utah, what those things at the tips of your shoelaces are called. Well these answers and lots of stuff in between are now all available to you every Monday at and Tuesday as Sam Adams sponsors Geno and Dan's Quizzo nite.It all starts out Monday night at 7 at the Logan House in Wilmington for some extreme sports quizzo before the game.  Then we head south to Klondike Kate's in Newark features $7 pitchers of Sam Adams Lager and Octoberfest.  Then on Tuesday the show returns to Wilmington for a twi-nighter.  We start at  Gallucio's at 8 pm, and after our show Gador hosts his own late nite NTN trivia challenge we love that guy.  Meanwhile Dan and i close out with a late show at Scratch Magoo's with more questions, answers, beer, and plenty of laughs.
Come on out once, we promise a great time that will keep you coming back! You've got nothing to lose and lots to gain as prizes include tee shirts, beer, and gift certificates.

i was there when you were young and strong and perverted...
It all started out with the genopools, then one sadly disturbed ad agency realized that penis jokes translates into large profits. The Delaware Lottery then put Geno on the airwaves and the rest is history. Yes that bald faced geek with the microphone is me that you've been seeing all over local cable pitching the Delaware Lottery and thanks so much for all of your support which has led to our latest project-- an ad for Shellhammer's Restaurant featuring a fabulous cameo by my good friend Frank Panunto. Click here to send him fan mail. Special thanks to John Nardozzi and the entire Shemp Group for having such faith in our crew. for your free copy of the Shellhammer's Ad, click here to email me type your name and address and shellhammer's ad in the title line .

I am leaving cuz I love you, I am leaving cuz I don't
About a year ago i wandered into my good friend (and since invaluable partner), Frank Panunto's house claiming i needed a week to crash on his couch before i moved to new york. That was a year ago...but i suppose it just wasn't my time. Now a year later with an indie movie, some TV work, a gig as lottery spokesman, production, writing and directing work on several local tv ads, roadie work on the press junket for the Perfect Storm, free lance work for some e-cards (see below), an editorial gig on for On The Run with Us, and so many other great things, i feel my time has come...or maybe i simply feel i need more. i've no idea what the future holds... but that's what makes it so exciting. Feel free to call upon or write me in Brooklyn. Thanks so much to everyone without whom none of these projects would have been successful nor, more importantly, so much fun, especially Dan Healy, Frank Panunto, Trae Lee, TJ Healy, The Delaware Lottery, RTE Advertising, ben and craig at Forge Media, my family and you, my friends.

yeah, you're workin...
For those of you who can't seem to get enough of TV sensationalism we offer you the latest Black Sheep project. Our company, founded and run by head flocker TJ Healy, recently worked the locations for the LA-based TV show Arrest and Trial. The show centers on tried court cases and goes out to each state rather than filming entirely in LA in order to give credit to the actual law enforcement officials who did the work. A total of 6 episodes were filmed in two weeks with two episodes focusing on the Capano case. The Black Sheep tradition of doing anything and everything needed for the project continues as Frank Panunto plays Brian Fahey, TJ plays a courtroom lawyer and yours truly plays weasel Gerry Capano. Look for special cameo by local kid Stephen "Bags" Martelli as he arrests a very frightened Gerry Capano... (Thanks steve for all of your hard work! Now you can play free cell in peace.) Special thanks to Dan Healy for running to Costco to get water.
As soon as I am aware of the air dates, i will post them. If ya need to now right now, then click here to see this week's episodes.

And before they went overboard, she turned and held up a card...
and it said Valentine...

When Bill Jordan of realtree.com decided he wanted some humorous ecards for his hunting website, his initial idea was to show camouflaged men holding dead pheasants...you get it? Neither did anyone else. So he went to Ben Winiarczyk (pronounced shuh-SHEFF-skee, thanks for getting that one Duke fans) of forge media to make them a bit more comical. Given my natural comic ability, (and, more importantly, the fact that i waited on Ben when he came into the bar for lunch), he asked me if i'd be interested in helping and the rest is ecard legend. In all seriousness it was really exciting to see my jokes made into cartoons and of course all ben's knowledge actually made the jokes funny!
