SYNOPSIS
SP5 Deland D. Zubke was serving as a radio operator for a U.S. Artillery forward observer attached to an ARVN unit in South Vietnam. On February 28, 1971, at about 1700 hours (5 PM), his unit came under enemy attack, and was forced to occupy defensive positions.
At 1410 hours (2:10 PM) on March 1, 1971, the ARVN unit's perimeter was breached and the
unit began to Break up, with the survivors attempting to evade capture. The three other Americans serving with this group evaded capture. Survivors report last seeing SP5 Zubke inside the defensive perimeter. While the surviving escaped, they called an air strike in their former position. SP5 Zubke was not seen again.
SP5 Zubke was presumed to have been killed in the air strike called in to protect the surviving members of the team. A cold reality of war is that the few may sometimes suffer for the greater good of many. The Army believes this the case with SP5 Zubke, but because, in the confusion there is the chance that SP5 Zubke left the bunker, the Army did not declare him Killed, but listed him as Missing in Action. Clearly, the Army accepted the possibility that SP5 Zubke had been captured. Although SP5 Zubke was not among the prisoners returned at the end of the War, thousands of reports have been received indicating that many Americans are still alive in Southeast Asia, held against their will. One of them could be SP5 Deland D. Zubke. If so, what must he be thinking of his country?

A Prayer
Oh Lord watch over the men and women who lost their lives and are not accounted for by those of us here in the United States of America who care. Lord there are more who may still be alive and in prisons in Southeast Asia and are not accounted for. Lord keep them safe and lighten the load they may be bearing as prisoners. Lord help us win the fight to bring them home safe, and let them forgive us for the delay, and Lord let all unaccounted for be found and accounted for be they dead or alive, for Lord it is now time for an accounting by our Government who may not be the same as those who sent and failed to get an accounting and a return of all MIA and POW's when the War ended.
Lord I know that you are aware of where they all are and I know that there will come a time of accounting in heaven, even if there is never one in this country as should be. Lord I ask now for an accounting by this Government and return of all still unaccounted for at this time. Lord I stand on the word according to Matthew 18:19 which states that if any two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by our Father in heaven . Lord I now stand with all those who agree with this request, and Lord I expect this to be answered, and that we will receive all that we have asked for. Lord I ask now that you also give us the strength to face the answer that we will receive from you. As all those unaccounted for become accounted for, as per your word. Lord they have paid the price now return them home.
In the name of our Lord Jesus We pray.
Aman, Aman, Aman

Let now all who pray this prayer stand in agreement, that it will be as we have asked. Doubt not and waiver not that the Lord may know that we have faith in Him. -
