Personal Bio
I was born January 30, 1947 in Columbus, Georgia and a former Jordan High School (Class of '65) Red Jacket. After a tour in Viet Nam from 1966 - 1968 (18 months), I left the US Air Force in 1970 and continued my education, at Columbus College, now renamed Columbus State University later transferring to Meadows College where I earned an Associates degree in Drafting Science.
I am presently single and have no children, well not the human kind, but I have two dogs Falon & Kris both female Schnauzers and they give me all that I can handle. I relocated to the Atlanta area in 1979 seeking greater employment opportunities and a much larger metropolitan area with better all around activities. After several moves and job changes I am currently living, 1979, and working in Norcross, GA. I have been the senior designer for the R&D Department of Hill-Rom/MEDÆS, Inc. the leading manufacturer of hospital beds, pipeline and headwall equipment in the world. Next time you visit a hospital or a clinic, look around the walls and ceiling and the objects that you see with the Hill-Rom, MEDAES, Fairfield or Ohmeda names or logos, are the products that I design. I am the webmaster and creator of the MEDÆS web site. Please check out the site by clicking on the logo....  I have over 25 years experience as a designer and has been writing HTML code for the last three years.
My job requires me to use the computer (which I enjoy very much) designing parts with the help of AutoCAD r13 c4, by  the best mechanical drafting and design software, and SolidWorks 97, a Windows 95 and NT Mechanical Design Automation Software package that blows away all the other 3D and solid modeling software, including PRO E, with its intuitive interface and price. With all the computer work during the day you might think I would be sick if it, but I also enjoy playing, yes I admit it "PLAYING" everyone does, around on the internet at night.

Sports interests
I love  racing and I have a collection of racing cards and a very large collection of die cast race cars and race car transports, I attend the races at our local tracks and try to attend one of the two races held at  each year.
Even with the Atlanta Falcons  as the hometeam I am still a big football fan, Roll Tide  in the SEC and GA TECH  , that 10th avenue trade school, in the ACC. You might think that living so close to Athens, Georgia that I would be a big UGA Bulldog  supporter, and I know that this will make many "Dawg" fans unhappy, but I got so sick and tired of Vince Dooley crying about "how can we possibly win this game with what we have", and more tears and more tears and then going out and whipping the socks off the other team. It wasn't the winning I minded it was the constant crying. I guess Vince spoiled it for all time, because I always said if "Vince were to leave UGA I would become a fan" well he has and old times are hard to change. Oh yea! I did cheer for them "DAWGS" the last time they played the team with the ugliest football uniforms in history, Penn State. Well off my soapbox for 'dem Dawgs....
And NOW for the Atlanta Braves... I would be the biggest Braves fan alive if it wasn't for the strike several years ago. Both sides were  wrong (I don't think either side believes they were wrong they just saw $ Signs) and there was not even an apology from either side here in Atlanta and the fans got stuck with no baseball and in most cases a very large price increase on tickets, parking and food. True Atlanta has a new ball park "Turner Field" but the 1996 Olympics took care if that problem and at no cost to the team. I respect every ones right to speak up when they feel they are being mistreated but come on baseball owners and players see if the people WHO SUPPORT baseball would gripe at what you make. I may be wrong but I do not enjoy "MLB" and do not watch on TV or go to the games.
Atlanta is going to try NHL Hockey again and have a big league team  with the NEW Atlanta Thrashers that will debut in 1999 at the New Atlanta Arena, to be officially named at a later date, will have a seating capacity in excess of 20,000 and will be configured to host a variety of events including concerts, basketball and hockey games, stage and theatrical performances, family shows and meetings. The complex is replacing the 25-year-old Omni Coliseum, which was demolished in July of this year. To see the first "cyberlogo launch" click here. That just leaves Ted's other team the Atlanta Hawks  which play excellent basketball and seam to make it to the playoff almost every year but can't make it past the first round in the playoffs. Soapbox time again.. There is a certain well known Atlanta professional sports team owner that has a wife with a big mouth and at every opportunity opens it wide and inserts foot up to the knee. To this owner its time to unload that traitor of a wife (name with held at my request) to all of us Americans and others that served and/or died in VietNam. The display of her up on that anti-aircraft gun in North VietNam will always make me a true believer that she needed to be deported to the country that she defended during the sixties. There were millions of Americans that protested in their own way and I will be the first to uphold their right to do what they did, but to travel to the country that we were fighting and make propaganda films and messages is deplorable and should have been dealt with by our leaders.   All you NASCAR fans (and you don't have to be a REDNECK ) can get all the news and contest from NASCAR OnLine and Raceshop and listen to NASCAR Today and other sports as well as radio stations all over the world as well as major television news programs from ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and PBS with  . The software is free and there is an option for 28.8 and above modems. Once you have installed your RealPlayer software turn your browser to  or  (formerly AudioNet.com) and listen to "LIVE" college and professional sports (football, baseball, auto racing, basketball), concerts, new music releases from your favorite artist or pick from to a large variety of radio stations from all over the world that a regular radio would not be able to tune-in.

 At C/NET Online you can find all the latest and up coming, hardware, software and information, related to computers and the internet. Once you sign on there is a place for you to join the service. There is no charge for joining and you don't have to. But you can subscribe to C/net dispatch and you will receive it by E-mail once a week. C/net dispatch describes what is online at the web site and the latest schedule on their TV and radio shows. This one is a must for the beginner to the expert. Add this one to your Bookmarks or Favorites list.

If you are using Windows 95 you will find plenty programs, utilities, games, drivers and many other things to see and download from the  winfiles.com Home Page - "formally called windows95.com". This site is not affiliated with Microsoft. There is tons of stuff here, and they are adding something new every day. This is a great site where you can get all the new and beta material.  A beta program is one that is out only for testing (not yet released)..... The World's Best Collection of Internet Software. TUCOWS is your place on the Web to access the latest and greatest Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows 3.1, Macintosh and OS/2 Internet Software, performance rated and checked for viruses.

Netscape Navigator  release 4.05 seems to be the browser of the day and it supports Win95, Windows 3.X and the Mac. Netscape is currently working on release 5.0 and rumors have it that it is due out by the end of 1998.......
The Microsoft Home Page for another interesting sight and download the  release 4.01. Microsoft is currently working on release 5 and like Netscape the beta version should be out in late 1998 ......
This will be one of the first places to find both of them, so stand by for both Netscape and Explorer with their updates......

For all you kids 6 to 96 the Disney site is great! There are movies, stories and songs that we grew up with and that the kids love today. If you want a wonderful place to park the kids in front of the computer give them the "mouse network" and let them go visit Mickey, Donald, and Daisy and all the gang at DISNEY.COM ......The kids and you will have loads of fun.

Yes! As a single guy I have looked at a few pages in A Foreign Affair, - An international introduction, dating and marriage service for singles wishing to meet Russian, Asian and Latin women for correspondence, love and marriage. This is a large selection of ladies (pictures and bio) from all over the world, looking to communicate with single men. The Cupids Network is another place for the guys as well as you ladies that may be looking or just want to correspond with someone on the internet. Frankly I'm not looking, but for you guys and gals these are some safe ways to meet a nice lady or gent over the net.

If you have an ISP, Internet Service Provider, that provides space own their server then you will be all set, or you can do what I did and get the free Home Page space provided by GeoCities. If you don't care to upload them to the internet you can still enjoy them by placing them on your hard drive and making a link via icon on your desktop to your pages and using your browser amaze your friends with you surfing the net.
