Hi, my name is Falon!
I'm 15 years old and welcome to my personal domain.
This is my baby picture, just look at those floppy ears. Cute uh! My dad thought I should look like all of my relatives and other schnauzer friends. Next thing I know I'm at that place where all kinds of dogs, even some muts, are gathered in this big room. One by one the dogs name would be called, and they would disappear through this door and not come back. I got kind of nervous, but dad said "it will be all right, and not to worry" . I did worry just a little but new dogs kept coming in , so I calmed down. THEN they called my name, and we got up and followed this nice lady through the door and into a smaller room. Dad picked me up and placed me on the cold slick metal table. Then some guy walked in and started poking and pulling on my ears. Boy did things go downhill real fast. This guy, they called him doc, took out this sharp thing and stuck me in the leg. The last thing I remember was ........ Well next thing I know I wake up with sore ears and this white stuff wrapped all around them. The next day I see my dad and he takes me home. I even had to wear this funny thing around my neck. This thing was a real nuisance, I could do the things that all of us love - bite and scratch my ears. Well to make a long story short , I still get kind of nervous then we pass that place, but I know it was all for the best. Just look at a picture of me now with my new ears, pretty good work 'doc'.
My best friend and adopted sister, Kris says that one day Schnauzers will rule the world. I believe this, because I rule my world "NOW". If you don't believe me, ask my dad. Anybody doing anything within my sight, no matter where I am, has to answer to me or suffer my BARK, except Kris, because she is older and wiser I guess.
I hear people asking dad how long it took to train me. :-) Don't tell him, but I'm the one that did the training. I have him wrapped around my little paw. It started when my dad rescued me from what he calls a puppy mill. It is a long story, but he adopted me when I was 10 1/2 weeks old. My dad says that I must be a redneck. Jeff Foxworthy says "you can tell a redneck if his family tree doesn't fork". When dad finally got my Papers, let's just say there weren't many branches. I must admit I was the cutest little thing and he took real good care of me. In no time at all, I had him hooked.

Hello, my name is Kris.
I'm 16 years old and I live in Norcross GA with my dad and my 14 year old best friend and adopted sister Falon. I'd say that I'm pretty darn cute, wouldn't you? I think my dad is lucky to have me. If I was forced with a milk bone bribe I'd have to admit Falon is also really cute.
I am originally from Miami, Florida and my original master past away about 10 years ago. Her parents live just north of Norcross in Roswell, Georgia and when they took over all of her affairs I lived with them for a short while, but they have two Giant Schnauzers and we didn't get along very well. They had to put me up for adoption and my new dad took me in. They gave dad my papers and he was given a couple of pictures so that he could see how I looked as a puppy. I missed my mother at first, but I just love it around here now. Falon did take some getting use to, but after several discussions we have become best friends. Don't get me wrong, it's not all play around here. One of the hardest things I had to adjust to, besides this male master, was the cold winters and that white stuff that to often covers the ground. This picture is made in the snow and boy was I cold! Dad needs my constant attention. I have to sit in his lap, every evening, while he reads the newspaper or I know he will miss something very important. He can't drive the car without my visual assessment of the situation from the driver's side window, and Heaven forbid him trying to cook without my ever watchful eye on him from my place on the floor! All in all he does a pretty good job, but it takes a lot of Falon's and my close personal supervision.
