Welcome

When
I came to the United States from Trinidad In 1988,
I
left my almost nine year old son "Sean" behind,
with
the promise that I will send for him within six months.
Life
had other plans for us and it was eight years
later
before we saw each other again.
In
1990 I wrote "IF" to express how I felt
about
not being able to keep my promise.
It
has been, and will remain my hope that one day
he
will be able to understand and forgive me.
IF
If
I could tell
what's on my mind
If I could make you understand
It's a roller coaster life you'll find,
That's up and down all the time
If you could see inside my heart
There'll be no need for me to tell
You will discover for yourself
A heart that's torn
and tattered too
If I could change my life around
I'll take a stand before to long
The guilt I feel is choking me
My very life yearns to be free
What I have done makes me ashamed
I'll
never be the same again
If you could peek
inside my head
You'll see a twisted mind so full of pain
And if I could put my head and heart to work
You'll surly see a sign that says revoke

TRANQUILITY
Many
times in the hustle of everyday living,
Tranquility
is just a smile away from the one you love.
One smile
often does what the spoken word is incapable of doing.
It has a
way of communicating from one heart to another,
What we've
got to remember, is that throughout life;
being
loved is an expression of human affection and
understanding.
It is a
feeling of comfort, and in a world of wonder;
the most
wonderful part is sharing it with you.
Whenever
I feel blue, I remember how lucky I am to have you.
There is
probably only one thing I appriciate more
than
being able to trust you so completely,
and that
is knowing that you love me too.
Everyone
needs to be loved, it is the most precious gift;
and God,
in his wisdom has given man the built-in ability
to love
and to accept love.
