Not only were George and Gracie great at the jokes and puns, but early in their career they were into physical comedy. Here is a single frame example of what they were able, and willing to do, for their art.

On the College Swing

In 1938 George and Gracie starred in a film called College Swing. Gracie is an adult who is still struggling through college, and the payoff, apart from the degree, is a large inheritance and the college itself! What would Gracie do with an institution of higher learning?

Burns and Allen also starred with Fred Astaire in A Damsel in Distress. Here they are doing a dance that the couple actually taught to the master of dance.
