X-Files Movie
The X-Files movie coming out in the summer of 1998 will bring in enormous amounts of money for FOX. It has been announced the David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) and Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) will be playing their normal roles. The other roles will be filled up as normal too (Cancerman, Skinner, Lone Gunmen, etc.) The movie will continue of the season 5 (this upcoming season) cliffhanger ending that we have come to love and anticipate. Season 2 opener
We wanted to believe.
We wanted to call out.
On August 20th, and September 5th, 1977, two spacecraft were launched
from the Kennedy Spaceflight Center, Florida. They were called Voyager.
Each one carries a message. The gold plated record depicting images,
music and sounds of our planet, arranged so it may be understood if ever
intercepted by a technologically mature extraterrestrial civilization.
13 years after it's launch, Voyager 1 passed the orbital plane of Neptune
and essentially left our solar system. Within that time, there were no
further messages were sent. Nor are any planned.
We wanted to listen.
On October 12th, 1992, NASA initiated the high resolution microwaves
survey. A decade long search by radio telescopes scanning 10 million
frequencies for any transmission by extraterrestrial intelligence. Less than
one year later first term nevada senator, Richard Brian, successfully
championed an amendment which terminated the project.
I wanted to believe, but the tools had been taken away.
The X Files had been shut down.
They closed our eyes.
Our voices have been silenced.
Our ears now deaf to the realms of extreme possibilities.

The X-Files is going into it's fifth season. Chris Carter had stated he will quit after this season. But, with X-Files site being shut down, and ratings so high, most people BELIEVE he will be back. A movie is planed to be released in 1998. Mulder's death comes as a shock to us all but I have some debunking theories.
- In the information about the X-Files movie (which continues off of this year's season finale) Carter stated that Duchovny and Anderson will be playing Mulder and Scully. So if Mulder's dead, how is he alive next season?
- If the alien body was faked, couldn't Mulder's body have been?
- Scully only took a few seconds to ID the body. If he was shot in the face, wouldn't he be harder to recognize?
- Scully didn't seem very upset.
- The ratings for the X-Files the highest in many years.
- Mulder could have faked his own death to have some time to search for the truth.
- Someone could have kidnapped Mulder nd faked his body.
Reasons Mulder's dead:
- A Fox hunted eventually dies.
- Chris Carter may quit.
- They wanted to end the show on a higher note.
- Merchandise will stopped being produced, it will become rarer to have anything relating to The X-Files, and FOX would get more money.
- FOX could sell the re-runs to other stations for high prices.
