Ship Schematics

The MV Exchequer is a standard Ferengi Marauder, with some refits and conversions ordered by DaiMon Koda when she took command of the vessel. The Exchequer's engineers are always learning new things about the ship and its systems, so this documentation will be constantly improved upon.

Propulsion Systems: The Exchequer has a cruising speed of warp 6.5, and a maximum sustainable speed of warp 9.1. The warp engines are not contained in nacelles as in other types of starships; they are instead located on either side of the protruding hull at the fore end of the ship. Engineering is at the exact center of the fore hull, on deck twenty. The impulse engines are located at the point where the fore hull attaches to the connective apparatus, or "neck", of the ship. The Exchequer also sports two maneuvering thrusters at the aft end of the ship, on the aft "wings".

Weapons and Other Battle-Related Systems: The Exchequer is armed with three phaser banks: a fore phaser bank located on the protruding front hull, a ventral phaser bank located on the venral surface of the ship, and an aft phaser bank located between the maneuvering thrusters. There are two torpedo bays located on the ventral surface of the fore protruding hull. The Exchequer contains ten double-occupant escape pods, and three shuttles in the shuttlebay located directly to the left of the ship's "neck" on deck twenty-nine. The ship's main sensor array is located at the bottom of the protruding hull, stretching from one end to the other, and the corresponding Science laboratory is on deck one.

Business-Related Systems: The Exchequer originally had one cargo bay and two shuttlebays; however, DaiMon Koda had one of the shuttlebays converted to a cargo bay. One cargo bay is located directly to the right of the "neck" on deck twenty-nine, and the other is located on deck thirteen. There are four additional transporter rooms on decks one, ten, thirty, and forty.

Computer Systems: It was necessary for DaiMon Koda to drastically refit the Exchequer's computers; it was originally a ship for battle, leftover from the great Ferengi-Lytasian Conflict, and its computers contained many battle tactics and attack plans--useless junk. So DaiMon Koda had much of it deleted and replaced with financial tips and theories, bargaining techniques, and several full copies of the Rules of Acquisition.

Additonal Information: The Exchequer has forty decks, counting from the bottom of the ship to the top. The following is a list of the ship's decks and important localities contained on each deck:

Deck 1 Science laboratory, transporter room 1, torpedo bays
Decks 2-8 Living quarters
Deck 9 Mess hall/casino, escape pods 1-3
Deck 10 Transporter room 2, holosuite 1
Decks 11 & 12 Living quarters
Deck 13 Bridge, cargo bay 1, escape pods 4-6
Decks 14-16 Living quarters
Deck 17 Brig
Decks 18 & 19 Living quarters
Deck 20 Engineering, escape pods 7-10
Decks 21-23 Living quarters
Deck 24 Holosuite 2
Decks 25-28 Living quarters
Deck 29 Shuttlebay, cargo bay 2
Deck 30 Transporter room 3
Decks 31-33 Living quarters
Deck 34 Medical bay
Deck 35 Holosuite 3
Decks 36-39 Living quarters
Deck 40 Transporter room 4, stellar cartography

The Exchequer, like most Ferengi vessels, contains a system of deck-by-deck holoprojectors to enable its crew to directly interact with the computer. Unlike most Ferengi vessels, however, the holographic computer interface (HCI) is composed of images of a single Ferengi male, rather than the usual Orion slave woman interface for male commanders. The single Ferengi male was chosen by DaiMon Koda to be none other than Brunt (FCA). (See DaiMon Koda's bio for more information.)
