Welcome to La Lobo

Well, I told you Wea never ran away again but I didn't say that Shoshonie and Cheyene didn't. From the first they were escape artists. I tied them with heavy chain while their runs were being built. We went through about five chains a piece the first week and then settled on logging chains. They never went far only down to visit the neighbors. We lived next to a fish farm you know one of those places that kids fish for trout in little ponds. Well they would go down and beg from the picnicers. Regular Yogi Bears they were. The owner soon complained but by then thier pens were done. So now with a sigh of relief I thought they will stay in. Well, that was a laugh first thing Shonnie did was eat the front of his new expensive dog house. Then he dug a large hole under the seven foot fence and came running smiling and wagging his tail up to the house. So I thought I will fix this. I worked all day hauling rocks almost as big as me and put them in the hole. I could barely lift them they were so heavy and I dug a trench to put them in so now he won't dig out again I thought. I looked at the work I had done and felt tired but satisfied. He not only suceeded in moving all the big rocks I had put in there but he dug a large hole for his buddy to go with him and he and Cheyenne were sitting on the deck smiling the next morning when I got up.

Was I discouraged no not me. I went to town and bought the best no climb fencing I could find and some concrete and went back to work on their pens. Well I don't have to tell this whole story just the highlites. First of all while I was filling the holes with rock and concrete I looked around and here were my three mischivous wolves helping me they each had a large rock putting it in the hole. I still have the picture too that I sent toNoclimb Fence Company of Shosonnie at the top of his new fence jumping off into a tree limb. They didn't think it was near as funny as I did. There was just one solution to hire this wolf out as a contractor to demolish fences and dog houses.

Well you remember that Wea was in heat well with two strong virile male wolves around of course we would have beautiful cubs. No, She had a affair with the neighbor lab who was so old that when he was done breeding her he ran to my truck and begged to be lifted in and drove home. You think I am making this up don't you but that is how it really happened. And in due time we had nine little wolf/lab puppies that looked just like little dust mops. They were adorable and thank goodness the local pet store sold them all in a week. It didn't even pay for the fencing and the concrete much less the dog food.
