X-Man Plot Danglers

Resolved Danglers:

X-Man #17- What will happend to Fitzroy now that Selene has him?

• It appearred for several issues that Fitzroy was under some sort of mental control by Selene, but now he seems to be himself once more and choosing to stay a member of the Hellfire Club Inner Circle.

X-Man #21- What did Nate do to the man in the park?

• Nate implanted a psychic tracker within him because he sensed the man was dangerous to society. The following issue the man attempted to blow-up a building and was stopped by Nate.

As of yet Unresolved Plot Danglers:

X-Man #7- What is the apple necklace that Selene gave to Madelyne? Does it have any real significance?

• Probably not but it was still interesting.

X-Man #12- Will Nate's powers finnaly kill him?

X-Man #13- Is Threndody really on the side of the Angels or is she still working for Mr. Sinister, only undercover now?

• It has been hinted at that Threnody is in part working for Sinister and at the same time trying to distance herself from him, much like Gambit may be doing over in the X-Men.

X-Man #14- Will Exodus ever get out of the chasm that Nate opened anytime before the year 2099, in which he does susceed in getting out?

X-Man #18- Why does Sinsiter claim "memories out of thin air" are theoretically impossible when almost every telepath has made them at one time or another?

• This is probably just bad writing.

X-Man #18- In this issue Threnody is not wearing her headgear. How is that possible? Wouldn't she be overwhelmed by madness?

• Again this is probably just an artistic mistake but it could also have to do with the fact that she is not around Nate. Perhaps, just perhaps, the head-gear keeps Nate out of her head enough that she is able to work for Sinister without Nate knowing.

X-Man #18- Mr. Sinister shows Nate some of Bishop's memories. Apparently he know from where Nate has come. Does he also know of the Dark Beast, Sugarman and Holocaust?

X-Man #23- Where does Fitzroy's newfound concern for Madelyne come from? Is he in love?

• Something seemed to happen to Fitzroy while Madelyne revealed her true brilliance on the boat last issue. At the time Selene silenced him but perhaps Madelyne had a stronger effect on him than anyone would have guessed. Could it be Madelyne trying to steal a little more power from Selene? Whatever the case it is plain that Fitzroy is very infatuated with Madelyne Pryor and resentful of Sebastion for being her lover.

X-Man #26- Will Nate's powers save his life, when his powers eventually kill him? Hmm, does this confuse anyone else?

X-Man #27- What are the Shadow beings that we've seen back at Nate and Thren's Soho loft?

X-Man #28- What is going on between Fatale and X-Man? They kiss for no apparent reason.

• Most likely this was some plot of the Brotherhood's to get Nate to join them.

X-Man #28- What is Selene plannning, with Fitzroy and Tessa, to do about Madelyne's newfound power lust?

X-Man #29- The Dark Beast mentions he will evacuate "others" as well as Aurora. Who are these "others" and what will happen to Aurora?

X-Man #29- Threnody appears to be up and about, and taking all of the morgue with her! What's her story?

X-Man #29- The three girls; who are they? What are they after and everything else we'd like to know about them?

• We now know that their names are Marita, Jam, and Bux. Apparently they've been avid followers of Nate's performances in Washington Square Park. Fortunately they aren't mutants, although they are 'New Agers' so whatch out for crystals, auras, and tarot reading! Oh, and Marita has a parole officer. Still a little more info would be nice.

X-Man #30- Why is Madelyne bleeding, from the nose I think, because Nate's in trouble? Just how connected are they?

X-Man #30- Why does Bastion refer to X-Man as the 'otherseed'? Just what and how much does Bastion know?

X-Man #31- Did Jacknife kill everyone under the Abomanition's protection, the Abomanition included?
