Sally gives directions to make transparent gif titles at Pixelsight. She used Incised-Roman font, text kerning of 2.0 with gradation using link colors, 3D with southeast shadows, tint 30% blur 100% (Anne thinks). BGCOLOR="#fce7be" for column.html in left frame.
