... a human skeleton sitting in a chair, which seems to be staring straight at them. And in its hand is a book. Jeff closes the book and looks at the cover. He reads it out loud and says, "Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain! Guys, this is in English, and this is a book made on Earth!"
"Do you think that somehow humans actually lived here?" asks Steve.
"Don't ask me, I'm not a historian or anything," says James.
They see a U.S. passport with the numbers on top, Z312093. Jeff opens it up and gasps in surprise.
"Hey, this passport belongs to Mark Jackman. Isn't he the man who was found guilty of murdering Michael Jackson, but mysteriously disappeared?" says Jeff.
"Yeah, this may sound crazy, but you know that many criminals have disappeared lately? I bet they all somehow managed to escape to the moon!" says Steve.
While Steve and Jeff talk to each other, James has been looking through the books on the shelves of the room. "Hey, guys, I think this is the library. And look over here. I think I found something that will tell us how to work the controls we saw at the tower."
They all immediately run to the tower with all the controls. James quickly reads over a chapter in the book and starts pushing buttons like crazy, as though he had years of training on the controls. There is a loud rumble, and everyone can see that the crater over them starts opening up. All of a sudden, the city starts to move up to the surface. When they got to the surface, they can see that their shuttle is standing nearby. They quickly run to it, and radio Houston, telling them that they are on their way home.
"Do you think that there are any more criminals over there?" asks Jeff.
"I don't know and I don't want to find out!" says Steve.
