Who am I?
- I was born in Ferrara, Italy, August 12, 1960
 - I had my BS-degree on Chemistry at the University of Ferrara , Italy, July 1985
 - I had my Ph.D-degree on Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, June 1991
 - I spent half of my Ph.D project at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT, working for Dr. J.C. Giddings
 - I joined the Faculty of Science of the University of Bologna as a researcher in analytical chemistry at the Department of Chemistry "G. Ciamician", February 1992
 - I am currently full researcher in analytical chemistry and assistant professor at the same faculty
 
My research activity
-  I am mostly dealing with Instrumental Analytical Chemistry
 -  I developed my BS-degree's project on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) of complex mixtures of natural origin
 -  Since my Ph.D. studies, my main research activity has been dedicated to
 Field-Flow Fractionation  (FFF)
 -  My secondary research area deals with instrumental aspects of Graphite-Furnace Electrothermal Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (GFFAS)
 -  Top skills: instrumental set-up, electronic boards for PC-controlled instrumentation, DAQ, networking
