Absolutely not! The magick is used as a secondary tool to attain balance... nothing more!

It would be human of you to wish to be more than comfortable... this line of thinking isn't Wiccan, I believe it stems from the Christian view that you cannot be spiritual or faithful if you are comfortable -- Blessed Poverty. But I ask how many Priests or Arch Bishops do you know that have involuntarily gone without a meal?! Not bloody many! (guess that means they're going to Hell -- if one believes in hell that is).

:) Not likely, just the curse of having an Ex, but better than being unhappy with someone who SHOULD be an Ex. If he has a curse on him so does most of the world ;) (Including me... I even know the name of my financial curse!!! College!)

Great! You aren't in it to learn to magick, you're in it for more than that... stick with that attitude and you'll get farther than most of the others.

As you were writing about believing not in Gods but in ancestors, Catholics ask certain Saints for assistance with specific problems! Like the Saint Christopher medal because he's the patron saint of travel.]

Excellent reference!!! Very true, the saints act as human role models exactly the way ancestors do (even if you may not be Exactly of that lineage) and you do communicate with them. One thing I have a problem with MOST (not all) Christians: You only call on your Saints or God when you need help. :\ Would that you celebrate your greatest joy and most lovely thoughts as well as your worst fear and greatest troubles, how much more enlightened would you be?
