An introduction to some widely-applied experimental methods intended for students interested in applied statistics beyond the elementary level. Emphasis is on analysis of data taken from experiments designed for testing fitness of a general linear model or of a particular regression or analysis-of-variance model. Computer software is used extensively. Prerequisite : MAT 232 or MAT 332 or MAT 434 or permission.
