Tiger Woods shot an even par 2nd round today at the Motorola Western Open. Tiger missed some key putts but still looks good if he can pick it up over the weekend. He is currently 4 shots back of the current leader. Time to make a move Tiger.
Tiger Woods shot a 67 in the 1st round of the Motorola Western Open. Playing with Mark O'Meara who has the lead at 6-under, Tiger looked back in playing form. Even though he tossed a ball into the pond after a poor putting effort on the 18th, Tiger's in good position for the weekend. Good to have you back Tiger.

Tiger Woods took last week off and went fishing. Tiger simply says he has had too much golf lately and needs to find a balance. Tiger did do some adjusting to his swing and putting and hopes getting back to the fundamentals pays off for him. He's paired up with his neighbor Mark O'Meara and John Cook for a 8:33 a.m tee off time.

Tiger Woods shot another 1-over 72 during the final round of the Buick Classic. Tiger finished at +3 before rain suspended play in New York. Look for Tiger to take a week off but then possibly play in the Motorola Western Open (July 3-6). Tiger really needs to get his game back online if he wants to do well at the British Open which is only 3 weeks away. Open your stance during your putting stoke and get ride of the little breaking forward motion before your putts Tiger. I know you'll figure it out!

Tiger Woods shot another 1-over 72 during the second round of the Buick Classic. Tiger is simply out of sync. It's also tough for Tiger because his caddie "Fluff" was not there. Fluff was attending the funeral of long time friend and caddie Jeff "Sqeeky" Medlen who passed away Monday after a long battle with leukemia. Tiger is showing he's respects be wearing a green and black ribbon on his hat.

Tiger Woods shot a 1-over 72 in New York during the first round of the Buick Classic. Tiger is in a tie for 53rd. Ouch! Ernie Els is taking some of Tiger's thunder as he won last week and current is the first round leader at 7-under. Tiger has some catching up to do!!

Tiger had a rather anticlimatic finish at the U.S. Open finishing at +6. He simply could not buy a putt. Oh well, no time to think about what could of happened. Tiger is confirmed to play in New York this week at the Buick Classic. He might not be all that excited about playing but I'm sure he's excited about the clinic for the Tiger Woods Foundation that he's doing for the kids on Monday. Keep it real Tiger!

Tiger Woods had a tough time at the Memorial, even taking his worst score of a 9 on one hole. Tiger finishing the tournament at +5 won only $3,800. Tiger is now taking a week off to get things in gear for the much anticipated U.S. Open. Gotta get hot Tiger!
Update: 6.02.97 8:15 p.m. PST
Tiger Woods is having a hard time at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio. Tiger currently sits at 3 over and may never get to finish as the tournament has been plagued with rain. Look for Tiger to take off next week and rest but then make for his reappearance at the U.S. Open.

Tiger Woods is back on the course this week to play at the Byron Nelson Classic. Interesting note: During a press conference Tiger spoke of rumors going around that he was involved with Tyra Banks and/or Kelli Kuehne. I guess someone saw the information at the bottom of my Cheat Sheet page about Tiger's Girlfriend and misconstrued it. For the record my sources say that Tiger has NO girlfriend and Kelli Kuehne is engaged to someone else. Article Where Tiger Makes Reference to Misconstrued Information

He has also spent time visiting with his pal Kevin Costner on his movie set. After some time off look for Tiger to possibly surface and play in the Byron Nelson Classic on May 15th-18th.

Tiger Woods and his father Earl Woods had a nice chat with Oprah Winfrey this past Thursday. Tiger was very down to earth and fielded questions very well. His father was also very precise and straight forward with questions. It really was just a nice sit down chat.

Tiger Woods and his Pop are scheduled to appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" next week. The show is scheduled to be taped on April 21st and then air on TV April 24th. This is a rare occasion, as Tiger does very few personal interviews. (Oprah's great. She even game ME a hug when I was in her audience a few years back.) If you ask me, he picked Oprah because of her large "female" audience. ;-)
