The "Lancer of the Week" award is given to swimmers who attended practice during the week, worked hard during practice, listened to the coaches, were respectful to other swimmers, and were generally a good example of how a team member should act toward his teammates, coaches, and self. Chosen swimmers will receive this award weekly. At the end of the season, all swimmers chosen as the Lancer of the Week will be eligible for the "Lancer of the Year" award. One male and one female will be chosen as the Lancers of the Year.
