1998 "Play for the Pets" Badminton Tournament

The "Play for Pets" tournament was held on September 19th at Portland Athletic Club (PAC). This is the 3rd annual PAC for the Animal Refuge League (ARL) fund-raiser. PAC owner, Robert Fisk, is an ardent supporter of the Animal Refuge League and animal causes in general. We are very appreciative of Bob's commitment to the ARL and the donation of his club for this annual event. The tournament coordinator, PAC Membership Director, Barbara Loch, did a wonderful job in organizing an event that raised over $1300 for our Special Needs Medical Fund. We are deeply grateful to Kinko's Copies and The Kennel Shop & Animal Care Center for their sponsorship of the tournament. Finally, we extend our gratitude to the badminton community, who turned out in full force to support our four legged friends with special needs!
