the eldest child of Edward Charles MANICOM & Mary GEAKE
 who married Dec 14 1867 in St Breward Cornwall.

Elizabeth Ann HOOPER was born abt 1869 in Jacobstow,
the daughter of Thomas HOOPER & Elizabeth Ann SYMONS.

along with his younger brother James & sister Elizabeth.

Living with them was their Aunt Jane, unmarried.
(Their parents died very young!)


During the 1881 CENSUS,
Elizabeth was staying with her paternal aunt,
Rachel Hooper ELLACOTT and family
in North Petherwin Devon England.

The newlyweds are found in 'Higher Southcott' in Jacobstow in the 1891 Census
living either with or next door to Elizabeth's father, Thomas HOOPER.

William Geake joined his uncle, William Henry in Canada in 1911,
staying with him on his farm in Cobourg Ontario.
He was followed 2 years later by Elizabeth and their children.

Elizabeth ~ Age 46 ~ 1915


William died Mar 5 1935 in Adelaide Middlesex Ontario.
Elizabeth died Mar 24 1946 in Adelaide Middlesex Ontario.
They are both buried in Strathroy Municipal Cemetary.

William & Elizabeth were Ed's GR grandparents !!
