BlackBerry Crumble
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar and brown sugar. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles fine bread crumbs. 2. Pour the blackberries into a square 8-inch baking dish and cover with crumb mixture, pressing down lightly. 3. Bake in pre-heated 350º oven for 35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream. Yield: 6 servings.
(PREP: 10 min; BAKE: 38 min Makes 36 brownies> 1. Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom only of rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. 2. Stir brownie mix, pouch of Hershey®'s Syrup, bananas, oil and eggs in medium bowl about 50 strokes or until well blended. (Mixture may be lumpy.) Spread in pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts. 3. Bake 33 to 38 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean. Cool completely for easier cutting. Cut into 2x1 1/2-inch bars. Store covered.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degreesF. Position a rack in the center of the oven. Grease 2 baking sheets or line with parchment paper, and set aside. 2. In a large saucepan over low heat combine the raisins, shortening, water, molasses, and brown sugar. Allow the shortening to melt, stirring occasionally, until the ingredients are combined and the raisins have plumped. Remove from the heat, and immediatly sift in the flour, ginger, and cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and baking soda. Stir until well blended. Stir in the rolled oats. 3. Drop the batter by level tablespoonfuls about 2 1/2 inches apart on the prepared sheets. Bake until the cookies have set, about 12 minutes. Let the cookies cool slightly on the baking sheets before transferring on to a wire rack to cool completly. Store in an airtight container. |
