Pregnancy Journal- page 117/11/1999- Today, DH and I watched my belly move in amazement! The girls now seem to move in response to our touch, our voices, and other pleasant stimuli. I just can't get over how miraculous this is. More and more, our daughters prove to us that they are little humans with distinct personalities. Baby A is extremely active...we like to say our future World Cup Soccer player, whereas Baby B is delicate. She is very active, just gentle in her every move. She has a real affection for my rib cage! OUCH!
The situation with the amniotic fluid has not increased to our knowledge. We go back to see the perintologist this week and they decided if I will be hospitalized for the duration of my pregnancy. If so, they will start administering the steriod shots to help mature their lungs, keep me on IV's, and complete bedrest. I know I will be bored....but realize it will be best for the girls....and that is all that matters. My shower is this weekend. I may be missing it, but DH and mom will be there and my good buddy is video taping the event for me. :0)
I'm feeling very confident that things are going to be okay. We have GOD and guardian angels watching over our shoulders. I am so thankful that I have such a caring & skilled OB. He has watched over us very completely from (near) the beginning. If you recall, he was not my original doctor, and now I know that all things happen for a reason. We've been blessed!
This could be our last update until our girls arrive. I will post a new entry as soon as humanly possible. What joy the babies have brought us already...I can't wait to share more wonderful news.
